Current Workout Feelings


Anyone out there in the Tighter Together challenge, we are in the home stretch, and for that I could not be more grateful! ⠀ What I do love is when I wake up with just enough time before the workout to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the quiet peace of the pre-dawn hours with this guy ❤️⠀ These 6 workout weeks are a lot for me, which is why I appreciate the short 30 day push of the program. It’s a great way to challenge the intensity because if I am honest, I don’t like to sweat much 🥵 I can’t wait to go back to the 5 day weekly moves programming where I take a few more liberties with the workouts and incorporate a little more foundational strength. ⠀ 💥But there is nothing like having some skin in the game to raise the bar, and proceed accordingly💥 Something about how @madeline_moves is so sweet yet so inventively brutal in her programming, always has me coming back for more 🤩⠀ While I didn’t have any hard and fast goals set, I have noticed a few victories:⠀ ✅Endurance is up - those 20 rep sets and full minute cardio bursts are a beast, but have forced by body into adaptations I’ve neglected for many months⠀ ✅New exercises in my arsenal! My new favorite is the squat with DB fly (swipe to see which one I’m talking about)⠀ ✅More food - as the challenge has progressed I found myself trending down a bit in weight which was not intentional, so I course-corrected to preserve lean muscle mass in the form of more carbs - just in time for all the fall meals 🥰⠀ What are everyone’s wins so far from TT or just in general over the past several weeks of hustle? Any plans to repeat the program? ⠀
