Saying ‘I don’t have time’ is the grown up version of the dog ate my homework. ⠀ ⠀ Saying ‘it’s too expensive’ means you are simply ranking other wants higher.⠀ ⠀ Saying ‘I’ll start Monday’ is no different than picking any other arbitrary day of the week to begin an adult responsibility.⠀ ⠀ Try replacing these excuses with ‘it’s not a priority’ and see how that feels. Maybe you just unveiled the truth and either way, that is so empowering! Own it.⠀ ⠀ Once you’ve established that, evict your excuses. That bullshit doesn’t live here anymore. ⠀ ⠀ It is December 1. There is exactly one month before we turn the calendar into the new year. ⠀ ⠀ What kind of leverage would it give you in mindset, physical strength, pride in YOURSELF, if you started or restarted a rewarding habit now? Right now.⠀
